Pre-order: Solstice Battle

Update Fri 3rd July: Yikes! The first batch went fast. I didn't expect such a wonderful reaction to these solstice brawlers, so this is a preorder for the next ten that I will print during w/c 6th July. Orders will ship the following week.

Two layer lino cut printed on handmade paper depicting the folklore legend of the Oak King and the Holly King as they perform their yearly ritual battle to wrest control of the light from one another. 

Printed in yellow and dark green on Nepali paper made from kozo and mitsumata fibres.

Measures 45 x 59 cm approx, edition of 200.

Please note that each print is individually hand printed and can have some ink chatter, registration differences and slight colour variances.
