About

I am Gemma Trickey, a printmaker and illustrator living in the beautiful Mendip Hills in Somerset UK. I live in an old Georgian house that used to be a pub for 200 years. I have a studio here too and most days can be found scribbling or carving something on lino.
I love print as a medium and use a cold laminating press to print on. He's called Frank(enstein) and has been punked up with the addition of a steel conveyor belt roller from ebay, and has a print bed and table made from plywood offcuts. I make small prints with an A4 Woodzilla press, or a wooden spoon.
Other materials and tools I use:
Lokta paper from Tej Handmade paper in Nepal
Pfeil, Flexcut and Powergrip gouges
Caligo Safewash Relief Inks
